Unley Reunion 2024: Memories, Mateship and the Final Siren
Former Unley Ambulance members came together for another memorable reunion — swapping stories, revisiting old photographs, and celebrating decades of community service.
Each year, the Unley Ambulance community gathers to reconnect — and the 2024 reunion was no exception. Former members travelled from across Adelaide and beyond to catch up with mates they had not seen in years, share a laugh, and remember the days when the Unley Ambulance Centre was the heart of the division.
A warm welcome home
From the moment people arrived, the room was alive with conversation. Old crew stories were told (and retold), photographs were passed around, and familiar faces were greeted like family. For many, these reunions are the highlight of the year — a chance to step back into a chapter of life that still means so much.
Photographs and memories
As always, the cameras were busy. A full set of photos from the day has been added to the 2024 Photo Album. If you have additional images from the reunion, we would love to include them — please get in touch and we will add them to the collection.
Keeping the connection alive
This website exists to preserve the history and spirit of the Unley Volunteer Ambulance Service. Whether you attended the 2024 reunion or not, you are always welcome here. Bookmark the site, explore the photo archives, and listen to the iconic Grifco siren that so many members remember from their time at the centre.
If you are a former Unley member and would like to be added to the reunion email list, please use the contact form. Your details will be checked against our official member list before we send out information about the next get-together.
We look forward to seeing you at the next reunion.
